Want to get away from the sizzling heat of summer? Do you have roofing or plumbing or handyman experience? Spend some time in Alaska trading off your skills.
Welcome to Ninilchik, Alaska.
Spend up to a month in your own private cabin with all the trappings of home.
Look out at the 5 volcano’s 50 miles away across the Cook Inlet.
Right in front are beaches where you can fish Halibut from the shore.
This is where the beach halibut fishing started.
https://fishingbooker.
com/charters/view/25816 We have 3 cabins and one house on the bluffs in Ninilchik, Alaska.
Almost halfway between the famous Kenai river to the north and the halibut fishing capital of the world, Homer, Alaska.
This amazing beauty of the cook inlet is right in front of you.
Every morning you can sit on the deck and see the 4 volcanoes.
Starting south there is Alexander, Illiama, Redoubt, and Spur.
All 10,000 feet+ volcanoes.
Go down the road to the beach for miles and miles of beach with barely any houses.
Fish for Reds or Silvers in Ninilchik river, Deep Creek river, Kasilof River, Kenai river, Anchor Point river.
So much to choose from.
Also fish for any salt water fishing.
Hiking is also amazing here.
Bald Eagles fly right by the cabins at about 20 feet away using the bluff as a Interstate Highway.
All we ask is that you do the maintenance of the 4 cabins while you are here.
This year our big projects are replacing a small roof damage on the one story metal roof cabin.
We would also need asphalt shingle replacement on another 1 story cabin.
Re-grout a small section of tile in another cabin and mow mini soccer field and other grass area, (we have a riding lawn mower) and weedwack, prep 4 wheelers on property.
Just basic do it yourselfer’s work.
We are not always on property but can have you use our 94 Ford Ranger (valid license and $500,000 liability and clean driving record.
).
If this sounds interesting and want to learn more, email us.
You must have the skills for upkeep mentioned in this text.
Alaska is very expensive to visit, these cabins rent for about $250 day on the bluff.
Cars rent for $150-$200 day.
When we do come down from Anchorage, we can buy any supplies and bring them with us.
Usually at Costco with no sales tax.
