What will you do in this job?: Manages the planning of all special events, convention and catering services for the lodge, adhering to Windsong Lodge standards.
Must ensure profitability while maintaining high standards of product and service for optimum guest satisfaction.
Arrive to work on time, ready to work, dressed in clean uniform, with a neat and clean appearance Ensure excellent customer service is provided for all events and conduct evaluations of services provided after working the event Assist Food and Beverage FOH Operations Manager in achieving revenue goals set for events and catering Build Group Resumes for all groups/events, and distribute appropriately Create, maintain, and distribute Banquet Event orders on a daily/weekly basis Coordinate FAM trip receptions, dinner and site inspections Create and maintain “Event Resource Toolkit” to include tools and supplies used for events Maintain appropriate and detailed information for each function/event when assigned Performs other duties as are appropriate and as assigned What skills and experience do you need for this job?: Demonstrated knowledge of professional catering/convention services management skills, including sales and marketing skills Ability to plan, organize, motivate and direct others in a team environment in the achievement of goals and objectives Well-organized and self-directed; ability to develop methods of facilitating operating efficiency, cost and control Ability to maintain accurate records and to prepare and submit comprehensive reports Knowledge of alcohol management (TAP card) Work effectively under pressure and able to meet deadlines while maintaining composure in difficult Three years’ experience in hotel and/or restaurant management or a related field; or any combination of management, education and experience that provides the necessary skills management systems.
Strong MS Office skills Proficiency in the use of computers, F&B software, databases, reservation systems and property Knowledge and abilities Willing to work long hours, various shifts, split shifts, and on holidays and weekends What will your work environment be like?: We wake up every day to greet glaciers, mountain peaks and pristine lakes.
